Jason Wilks, Head Professional
Jason is excited to be a part of Buttonwood and the Treasure Coast area.
He started playing tennis at the age of 8, watching his mother play and hitting against the backboard at their tennis club in Huntsville, AL.  Jason was the Alabama high school #1 singles state champion and played #1 singles/doubles at Birmingham-Southern College.  After college, he played on the European futures tour then made his career as a Software Engineer, but his love of the game and teaching brought him back to tennis.

Jason began teaching at numerous clubs in Austin, TX, is a USPTA certified professional, and was the head professional at Seaside in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, before moving to the Treasure Coast.   He was also selected as the USPTA player of the year for 2015-16.

Having had the fortune of being coached by a legendary USPTA Hall of Fame president, Jason prepares and structures his lessons around attainable goals and practical progression of skills.  He believes tennis helps kids become driven and builds confidence, self-esteem, and concentration.
