Carlos has been teaching/coaching tennis for over 15 years to players of all ages, levels and backgrounds. He became a tennis fan at the early age of 6. Carlos grew up playing competitive tennis through juniors and participated in a number of world class competitive events.
He’s had the opportunity to work with coaches like Nick Bollettieri, Juan Nuñez, Brenda Shultz and also tennis pros like Boris Becker, Tommy Hass, Iva Majoli and many more. He is an active USPTA certified professional, who has participated in seminars for Nutrition for tennis players, Sport Physiology, Motor learning, Fitness and conditioning for tennis. His knowledge extends well beyond the tennis court.
Carlos believes that kids that grow up involved in a sports environment like tennis, grow up to be self motivated and better fit mentally and physically.
Gilly is happy to find a home at Buttonwood Tennis Club. His coaching career began over 15 years ago, mainly involved in the junior/pro high performance level.
Gilly and Carlos merged their coaching styles and experience to create a teaching style that is effective and rewarding for the student.
Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to work with greats like: Chris Evert, Nick Bollittieri, Brenda Shultz-McArthy, Jimmy Arias, Tommy Hass, Sebastien Grosjean, and many others.
Gilly believes that activities that stimulate our bodies and minds keep us connected to a healthy balanced life.
Lonna Chaumer is a Stuart native that grew up playing with some of the best players in the world. Some worth mentioning are Lindsey Davenport, Mary Pierce and Jennifer Capriati.
Some of her greatest achievements include wins over Mary Pierce, NCAA South West conference Doubles Champion and had a high school record of 83-0 for South fork High School in Stuart. She was ranked in the top 10 in Florida for singles, number 1 in doubles and ranked in the top 45 in the country.
Lonna earned a full tennis scholarship to Texas A&M University and has been teaching tennis for 15 years to students of all ages and levels.
Lonna believes that tennis is the sport of a life time.

Jimmy Dunseith, Assistant Professional
Jimmy is a Florida native who has lived on the Treasure Coast his whole life. He competed in many USTA tournaments throughout his junior career. In the state of Florida, he reached a high of 79 in singles and 22 in doubles.
Jimmy began his tennis career at Centennial High School where he played #1 singles and #1 doubles his senior year. Then he went on to play for Vincennes University, a tennis powerhouse ranking top 5 in the nation for NJCAA for the last 15 years. At Vincennes, he played for Ron Albers, a NJCAA Hall of Fame coach.
He then transferred to Newman University where he played #1 singles and #1 doubles. He took his team to the finals of conference and received All Conference 1st Team awards both years at Newman. After wrapping up his tennis career at Newman, he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology.
He has been coaching tennis since 2003, working with children and adults of all ages and levels. He really enjoys working with people. Jimmy’s goal is to make sure that he educates people about the game and works hard to improve their mental and physical well-being through tennis.
