- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your match starting stime.
- Prevent late arrivals because of lack of preparation. Find out directions to the facility and starting time the day before the match.
- Spend a few minutes preparing mind & body just before the match. Different players use different routines. Your coach can help you design a routine based on your personality and tendencies.
- Bring two rackets, preferably the same kind.
- Don’t wait too long to restring your rackets. Change your strings as many times in a six month period, as times you play per week.
- When playing morning matches don’t forget your protein, carbohydrates and water.
- Always consider the weather conditions when dressing for matches.
- Call the score often and clearly.
- Erase all potential excuses from your mind and focus on your best performance possible.
